Free Postal Entry
No purchase is necessary to enter any KD Competition. You can always enter completely free by post.
Postal entries must comply with the rules below to be valid. Entries that do not meet all requirements will be disqualified. One free postal entry is permitted per person per competition.
How to Enter by Post
Write Your Entry Details
On a plain piece of paper or postcard, clearly write all of the following information in block capitals:
- Your full name
- Your full home address including postcode
- Your email address
- Your date of birth (you must be 18 or over)
- Your phone number
- The exact name of the competition you are entering
- The word FREE ENTRY clearly written at the top
Post Your Entry
Place your entry in an envelope with a first or second class stamp and post it to:
Ensure It Arrives in Time
Your entry must be received by us before the competition closing date. We recommend posting at least 5 working days before the closing date to allow for Royal Mail delivery times. Late entries will not be accepted.
Postal Entry Rules
Each person is entitled to one free postal entry per competition. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
Postal entries are open to UK residents aged 18 or over only. Entries from outside the UK will not be accepted.
Each valid free postal entry will receive exactly one entry into the relevant competition draw, equal to one paid ticket entry. No purchase gives any advantage over a free postal entry.
Entries missing any of the required information (name, address, email, date of birth, competition name) will be deemed invalid and will not be entered.
Entries received after the competition closing date will not be entered into the draw regardless of the postmark date. Allow sufficient postage time.
Printed, photocopied or computer-generated entries will not be accepted. Your entry must be handwritten in ink.
Entries submitted by third parties, competition entry services or bulk entry agents will be disqualified.
Employees, contractors and immediate family members of KD Competitions are not eligible to enter any competition.
Legal Basis
KD Competitions operates as a prize competition under UK law. Our competitions include a free entry route in compliance with the Gambling Act 2005 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. The free postal entry route ensures our competitions are classified as prize competitions rather than lotteries, meaning no gambling licence is required.
By submitting a postal entry you confirm that you are aged 18 or over, a UK resident, and that all information provided is accurate and truthful. False information will result in disqualification.
