Overview

KD Competitions sells digital competition tickets. There is nothing to ship at the point of purchase — your ticket and instant win result are delivered electronically immediately after payment.

This policy covers the delivery of prizes to winners. All prizes are delivered free of charge to winners within the United Kingdom.

Ticket Delivery

When you purchase competition tickets:

  • Your tickets are issued instantly upon payment confirmation
  • Your instant win result is revealed immediately on screen
  • A confirmation email is sent to your registered email address within a few minutes of purchase
  • No physical ticket is posted — everything is handled digitally
  • All purchases must be made using a debit card in line with the DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators (November 2025)

Prize Delivery — General

All prizes are delivered free of charge to winners within the United Kingdom. We do not currently deliver prizes outside of the UK.

Prize delivery process:

  1. Winner is notified by email within 24 hours of their winning entry being confirmed
  2. Winner must respond and complete identity verification within 14 days
  3. Once verification is complete prize delivery is arranged
  4. Prize is delivered within the timeframe stated for each prize category below

Prize Delivery Timeframes

These are estimated timeframes and may vary depending on the prize, supplier availability and your location within the UK.


Cash Prize and Cash Alternative Delivery

Cash prizes and cash alternative payments are made by bank transfer directly to the winner's UK bank account. To receive a cash payment you will need to provide:

  • Your full name as it appears on your bank account
  • Your UK bank account number
  • Your sort code

Cash payments will be processed within 3–7 working days of receiving your verified bank details.

We are unable to make cash payments via PayPal, cheque or any method other than direct bank transfer.


Physical Prize Delivery

Physical prizes are delivered by a tracked courier service to your confirmed UK address. You will receive:

  • A notification email when your prize is dispatched
  • A tracking number so you can monitor your delivery
  • An estimated delivery date

You or someone at your address must be available to sign for the delivery. If delivery is attempted and no one is available the courier will leave a card with instructions for rearranging delivery. Prizes that cannot be delivered after three attempts may be returned to us and a redelivery fee may apply.

Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete. KD Competitions cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect address information provided by the winner.


Vehicle Delivery

For vehicle prizes additional steps are required:

  • Winner must hold a valid UK driving licence or nominate a recipient who does
  • Vehicle will be delivered to a UK address or collected from a specified location
  • Winner is responsible for arranging appropriate insurance before taking possession
  • Vehicle will be delivered with a full MOT and road tax where applicable
  • KD Competitions will cover standard delivery costs within mainland UK
  • Additional charges may apply for delivery to Scottish Highlands, Islands or Northern Ireland

Vehicle delivery typically takes 14–28 working days after all verification and documentation has been completed.


Prize Condition

All physical prizes are:

  • Brand new and unused unless specifically stated otherwise on the competition page
  • As described on the competition listing
  • Supplied with all standard manufacturer accessories and documentation where applicable
  • Covered by the manufacturer's standard UK warranty

If you receive a prize that is damaged, faulty or not as described please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@kdcompetitions.co.uk with photographs and we will arrange a replacement or appropriate resolution.


Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland

We deliver prizes to all parts of the United Kingdom including:

  • Scottish Highlands and Islands
  • Northern Ireland
  • Isle of Man
  • Channel Islands

Delivery to remote locations may take longer than standard mainland UK timeframes. We will always communicate expected timeframes clearly with winners in these areas. Additional delivery costs for remote locations are covered by KD Competitions unless stated otherwise in the specific competition terms.


Failed or Unclaimed Prizes

If a winner fails to:

  • Respond to our winner notification within 14 days
  • Complete identity verification within 28 days
  • Provide accurate delivery details

We reserve the right to forfeit the prize and conduct a redraw to select a new winner. We will always make reasonable attempts to contact the winner before forfeiting the prize.


Prize Not Received

If your prize has not arrived within the stated timeframe please contact us at info@kdcompetitions.co.uk with your:

  • Full name
  • Order reference number
  • Competition name
  • Delivery address

We will investigate and provide an update within 2 working days.


Changes to Prize

In exceptional circumstances we reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. We will always notify the winner of any substitution and offer the cash alternative as an option.


Responsible Play and Prize Delivery

In line with the DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators (November 2025), if a winner has an active self-exclusion at the time of winning, KD Competitions reserves the right to withhold prize delivery pending review.
